Efficiency with your tools is key to getting tasks done versus playing. Being a new parent I can’t afford to play when quiet time is precious. Recently I spent hours reproducing the standard responsive mockup image. The image is a rendering of a web app on desktop, tablet, and smartphone.
At first glance it looks easy. All you gotta do is… Famous last words of someone who’s never actually completed the task in question. I did a quick search for a ready made template. Lots of places have a template. What I didn’t find was the help in creating the actual screen shots that were true to the device. I decided to write a guide as I created the composite image.
